Trying to take on more malay weddings along the way. Here's my 2nd attempt in another malay wedding which I've enjoyed very much. Sharing some random selections with you guys. Feel free to comment as well.

I like ur series... very nice angles and compostition... the timing is well captured... =)
just my 2cents comments... i always like to see more of malay wedding photos...

Thanks for your compliments Shuee. I like their colours. Still pretty new to malay weddings. Lots to learn and improve on.

Please feel free to comment still. :)

Nice. Like the barricading shots. The barricading shots are usually quite difficult to shoot cause damn tight usually. Always hope for full frame cam in my hands during that time. Those shots were quite a good catch.

nice...quite a journalistic kind of approach... were you able to pose them on the dais as well?

Thanks nsalman.

I was actually a 2nd photographer to a fellow malay photographer. Therefore I can spend lesser time around the dais and move around. I took over the formal shots at the dais from time to time though. It should be more challenging to shoot as 'journalisticly' if I were the main photog. There's definitely lots to room to improve on still.

Feel free to keep the comments and advice coming. :)

Hehe. Thanks Creaxion.

Perhaps a little luck, anticipation and squeezing thru the crowd helps this time. :)

yeah, it would be very challenging given the lack of time (supposedly) but it can be done...I like your series. but it'll be nice to show off a few of the formal shots too...did you also take any shots of the momentos, like the "berkat" or gifts from the groom to the bride etc etc...next time, you might want to stay for the nikah ceremony. it has been a long time since I've taken weddings. the shots I mention could tell more of the wedding...anyway, like your shots esp of the close ups...can actually feel the joy of the event.
