I feel that FT1 will have minimal impact on the image quality. To answer your question, yes there will be differences when you compare the image taken with the same lens on a DX and a CX sensor. These differences (e.g. high ISO performance, bokeh, etc) is due to the sensor and not attributed to FT1. Hope this answer your question.I meant the IQ of the V1 compared to a DX using the SAME lens.

Can it be used on a tripod with lenses without a tripod collar e.g. 28-300?
Or will it be too unbalanced or cause excessive stress on the mount?
