Exposure on old leica

My light meter shows increments of 125/250/500/1000 but the old leica shutter increases at 100/200/500/1000.

I thought 200 is not far from 250. So when my meter shows 250, I dialed to 200 and the pictures turn out over exposed.

Any advise from seniors here?

1/200 1/250 doesn't make that huge difference (1/4 stop). So u may need to check speed of your camera (old camera may be not accurate). Metering technique could be problem too.

usually your film will be able to take care of the exposure latitude. Be careful of using slide films tho, their exposure latitude is much smaller compared to colour negatives. Usually the 1/4 stop makes not much difference, so i think it should be fine.

Thks guys. Will test a few more rolls.
