Evolution of CS

I am the latest 'victim'. Ha Ha...

Didnt know CS has become a typical Singaporean neighbourhood that have a few bullies around! Now where are the official polices?

Passion runs a little deeper in Photo Biz. I think conversations in a forum have to be a lot more precise and complete than in real-life dialogues; easier to jump to conclusions, quicker to assume, conversation direction easily gets hijack by 3rd, 4th & nth parties, typical serious discussions consists of my huge chucks of text replied by your huge chuck of text, etc

To protect yourself, generally have to follow some "guidelines"... have a clear standing on the subject, type proper sentences, express your opinion properly, clarify what you don't understand, devoid yourself of emotion, have people clarify your own statements, don't lose your cool even if others do (walk away if you lose interest).

It's better we learn to be more accommodating to each other in here, Mods will usually only step in when things are totally out of hand. Then they'll give a warning before closing the thread. That action doesn't actually give any online closure but I think the implied suggestion is have the parties go out and talk over kopi instead.

If anyone thinks a post is particularly "untoward / bad", then please use the "Report Post" function instead of firing back insults at the other person. Reminder to use the function wisely. Think of it as the "Emergency" button on the MRT, got fine if you anyhow use.
