Error in archiving

Did the following in WebShell3, appreciate any assistance!

1. selected the directory to archive
2. clicked the Archive button
3. clicked Create>> button
4. The following error appears:

Parse error: parse error, expecting `T_STRING' or `T_VARIABLE' or `T_NUM_STRING' in /hsphere/shared/apache/htdocs/webshell3/.class/wsTar.php on line 1106

Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: archive_tar in /hsphere/shared/apache/htdocs/webshell3/modules/tgz.php on line 78
