Hi,

I've been using Dynax 5 for over a year now and never had any problems. But the last 2 rolls of film went bad when I started to get "--ERR--" message on the LCD everytime I snapped. I tried basic troubleshooting as given in the manual but that didn't help one bit.
I checked with Minolta Sg and they told me to return it to an authorized service center.
Any body knows of any authorized service center in Bangalore, India? I can't take it anywhere else. :(

Hi, i just checked out the Minolta website. Seems that, from the website that is, the nearest one is in Singapore!

Maybe you can check out with some reputable camera store around your place?

Strange problem. Is your camera still covered by warranty? You may want to ask this question on some Minolta usergroups such as http://groups.yahoo.com/group/minolta-users-singapore/. You'll need to be more explicit about what troubleshooting steps you've tried but didn't work. You may also want to bring it to either The Camera Workshop at Peninsular Plaza or John 3:16 a Funan Centre. Try to go during office hours, if possible, when there are fewer people, and get them to take a look at your camera.

Sooo...Jagung....!!!! (corny).....

Its normal...at times you are at the highest spirit to help others....you may mach such errors....

;)

Basic trouble shooting tried was :
1. Remove batteries for a while. Reinsert and try clicking snaps again.
2. Clean all the lens contacts / battery contacts and try again.

Both didn't help in any way.

My minolta is not under warranty now.

Who's the jagung? Since he could check with Minolta Singapore, he may well be in Singapore at this moment. So I'm providing an alternative to Minolta Singapore AND Bangalore. Nothing wrong with that! :kok:
