I was trying out my new 35mm adapter and I got my camera "hugged" at waist level when I got a electrical shock from one of the screws on bottom right side of the camera.

The shock was not great but it was enough to feel a little pain and that was when I had to move my hand away in an exaggerated rapid swing (you know like when your hand comes into contact with a hot cup of drink?).

Does anyone have any idea what just happened? :dunno:

I was unconvinced so I tried touching the little screw that can be found on top of the camera's handle with my thumb and I got shocked on the 4th and last touch.

This had never happened before I got the 35mm adapter. Any idea anyone?

static electricity builds up i guess... hmm tink the wires in your adaptor went berserk or perhaps ur cammie earthing came out... or static build up try offing the camera and switching it back on after few minutes hope it helps...
