im consider to buy a wide angle lens with a budge 1k plus any recommendation whr to get it?

If you're talking about wide angle f1.4 lenses, the only lens you can get with that budget is a 30/1.4 from Sigma, but being a DC lens, it's designed to be a 50mm equivalent.

IMO, your next best option is the Sigma 20/1.8 lens at about 500+ new.

If you're ok with stretching your budget, you may purchase either the 24/1.4L or the 35/1.4L at about 1.5-1.8k 2nd hand on this forum.

is the 24/1.4f comes with USM and L function i heard it the currently the fastest AF?

lol.. 24L has USM and is designated L.. i dunno what u mean by L function.. suck good pics inside? all i know it's a light sucker. haha..

someone is selling 24L at CS buy and sell market.. i think around 1.7k if i'm not wrong. go grab it!

I don't think the AF on the 24L is exactly the fastest. It's a large chunk of glass. If you want fast AF, you'd be better off with something like the 85/1.8. However, as AF goes, it's fast enough.

24L is not the fastest focusing lens in the market, its not slow either, just quite fast USM, comparable with 17-35, 16-35 focusing speed.

I feel that the 70-200 focuses faster than the 85, but thats just me =P

Even Non-USM lenses are fast enough for me, having started out with MF lenses :bsmilie:

To TS: Actually to be frank, the speed all differs by less than a second between all the lenses you're probably considering right now. Try to think more about optics rather than speed(i'm guessing you're not gonna be doing mainly sports photography)

see if u can get a used ef 35mm f1.4.
no horse run man!

still deciding :bsmilie: between a 24 or 35mm

depends on ur needs. i like both focal lengths on FF. the 24mm might be abit too wide and not wide enough at times on a 1.6x..
