Hi ppl,

need a recommendation of software with a gentle learning curve. i have to produce a video within 2 months' time ( doesn't have to be professional btw ) and i'm thinking what's the best software that I should pick up to do my video.

i've tried a myriad of software before and most of them were pretty advanced. some examples are : sony vegas, aftereffects cs4 [ they're like the "video version" of photoshop, which i was self-taught as time went by.. ]

need a few more other suggestions with the following requirements :

1. has preset transitions for me to play around with
2. gives me a degree of control at least ( not looking for something like muvee's AP6 ) - in terms of trimming, adding special FX, add subs with ease etc
3. not too simplistic, not too complex [ good e.g. would be windows movie maker vs. sony vegas ], i'm looking for something that's positioned in the middle.
4. windows-based. so yeah, mac fans please don't recommend FCP to me. haha.

as i still have other commitments, i probably can't spend more than 2h/week to just sit down and learn the whole software. so please recommend me something with a gentle learning curve! thanks! :)
