hi all
i have recently shots some pictures which have turned up pretty dark.. i used picasa software n make it brighter..

may i know if i save these edited pictures and sent it for processing.. will the picture turns out to be very bad? as in very grainy/noisy? or is it better that i use adobe photoshop which i have no experience using.

thanks , plse advice.

If you push the Fill Light bar too far to the right, you might produce grainy photos. Picasa allows people to do PP the quick and dirty way but if you have the skills and the time to do it via PS, then I think you can tweak it more ways than Picasa can provide.

i found picasa very easy to edit the pics.. but they turned out quite soft..

I tried it with 14bit Canon RAWs but I realised that Picasa tended to underexpose my RAWs by about 2/3 stop. Never used it again after that :bsmilie:
