East Gear NP400 for KonocaMinolta 7D with Grip

Hi,

Anyone use the East Gear NP400 for 7D ? Any risk of using 3rd party battery in 7D ?
East gear web page say it is 30% better than original NP400. Any real work experience to verify this claim ?
It is selling at S$34.95. Is there any other place selling it lower ?

yup, i'm using 2 of those. last a little longer than Minolta one cos its 1700mAh.

side note: for actual day wedding(including church), you need a total of 4 of this baby, base on the assumption you do not have time to charge or electrical point.

I have 2 Minolta batts and 2 Eastgear batts and I'm using them together, so I cannot confirm.

can use one Minolta and one EastGear NP-400, has been using it for a long time.. no problem for me...

KM claim or some of the guys on the Minolta Dpreview forums did a test? I think they did a voltage test and the one nearer the left side of the grip (when viewing the LCD) is used first...
