1) don't think there is a third party cable release for the e10.
2) there are only a few alternatives to what olympus offers (brands such as crystal vision, raynox, and kenko), but they won't be threaded at 62mm, so you'll need adapters. and there will even possibly be some vignetting. and the quality will not be as good as the olympus converters for the e10.
for equal-ish quality, you can consider the oly b300 for use, but there is vignetting even at full zoom.
