The GH4 has a retro mode which actually gives gobs of DR but it was not tested here.

Haha, it's strange. the whole article just seems like a thinly-veiled attempt to slam the GH4.

Its a strange test because a recent video from EOSHD.com showed how great the DR from GH4 has during a 4K recording.

The 5D3 in the other hand has pretty terrible DR but its rated higher here. If its 5D3 magic lantern RAW hack, i would believe, the basic 5d3 video DR is 'bla' to say the least.
