Hello guys,

Does the auto cut-off features in AKARUI E26D? I've bought my first dry cabinet AKARUI E26D, The Red LED light lit up as per normal when i switched on the power source, but two days after, without switch off the power source, the red LED light is off.

I'm wondering is that a faulty or auto cut off feature?

It's normal. And you don't switch off and on the cabinet. You r supposed to leave it on 24/7.

It works like your house fridge.

Akarui is a solid brand. Been using mine for 5-6 years, still going strong.

Hopefully it last longer for my unit as well

However, do you trusting the in-house hygrometer? Have you purchase other external hygrometer to double check the humidity level within dry cabinet?

Nope. I didn't use external hygrometer. Just depend on the built in one. My camera stuff is as good as new.

Don't worry too much abt it. It will do a proper job.
