Does lens hood help?

Ive tried posting this question before but i think..nobody reply before.. so maybe i'll try again..

Anyone using or have experience with Sony own MC protector ? Are they any better or same with the BW MRC and HOYA HMC? (Assuming they are selling at same price and you need to get 1.. which will u go) ?

All the top filters are excellent, really. You won't really notice any difference between them.

Thanks for the prompt reply. So maybe ill go for Sony MC ..since it has CZ T*.. Anymore input from experience user will be welcomed.

never tried the Sony ones but tried the B+W seem pretty good tried also those el-cheapo filter it causes ghosting specially there's a strong light source withn the frame. I think tere was a thread or it was discussed here before about filters cant seem to find it anymore

Precisely.. most user would go for BW n Hoya... But since the Sony 77mm MC is going 590HKD (which converts to around 90+ bucks)..its same pricing as the 2 brands (high end series). So i think ill try..but prior to that just trying to get some feedbacks if any... (hopefully..)
