Does a "modified" Leica like this commands a value?

looks nice but that's about it... I wouldn't go near it unless the modification was performed by someone with an outstanding track record!

looks like a nice shooting tool to me with modern M6 internals.

But on the collector side, big no for me.

the ad smells dodgy to me.. descriptions on modifications also don't add up..

rangefinder masks looks wrong, and am a little confused by the top plate, which looks like a M2+M3 frankenstein..

Has counter window of M3, but without the framed finder windows.. thought it's a one piece top plate? And flash socket hole looks like M6's.

Frankenleica. Its like box of chocs. You never know what u gunna get. Its definitely not collectible. Whether suitable to buy for use depends on price.

A franken piece not worth the money or trouble. Always go for the original.
