Hi,

I'm looking for a good monitor mounting for my new dji phantom.

What mounting are you using, any photo?

i find that most mounting kind of block the Antena of the remote.

Need to find someone that dont block the antena and easy to mount.

If you have spare Gopro mounts lying around, you can do this.

Are you using a Diversity receiver Guile? If you are not, I suggest that you try to bend your antenna to have it point upwards instead of what you have now. Reason for this that the cloverleaf antennas radiate/receive in a circular pattern, leaving a dead zone above and below the "leaf". Pointing it like you have now is effectively pointing your dead zone at your craft and will affect range.

Hi, this is not my setup. I saw it posted on a Phantom Facebook Group and thought of sharing it to timelapse. A lot of users in that group are using the sticky Gopro mounts to mount their FPV as a cheap, readily available option. It's easy to remove too, just slide the mount off. Unless you're planning to mount it on different transmitters, then you will need several of the sticky mount.

Yup, I'm using Diversity, one patch and one Spiro antenna. Spiro pointing upwards, and patch pointing towards the craft.

Hi, actually how should all these antennas be position and how does it work?

Thanks

It kinda looks similar to the one posted in this forum.

Though this one looks like it has 2 screw holes for 2 different mounting options.

I wouldn't mind trying out the local one if it has the same design. They are both 3D printed anyway.
