Thinking of replacing the peeling leatherette of my edixa myself as i assume the replacement will cost more than the camera itself if i send it to repair shop. I'm looking at snakeskin pattern leatherette, anyone know where i can get some good quality leatherette sheet dedicated for cameras/thin enough to be used on cameras?
Anyone has experiences with DIY leatherette replacement? Please share some advice on cutting, gluing, etc. Or am i better off sending it to a camera repair shop to have it done? :think:
