[Dilemma] Upgrade from 18-200mm to 24-105mm + 70-200mm f/4?

Even own the 70-200F2.8IS and a couple of primes & F2.8 zooms... the 18-200IS still remain my fav lens.

and I read your the other thread on 18-200mm lens, it was awesome. I guess it will be my fav too.

But are you going to upgrade then? if so, selling your 18-200? I dont mind getting a 2nd hand. Since you use it quite extensively, the condition must be good.

Anyway thank you for your extensive experiment on it. Great effort, well done!

Thanks... for that thread I just thought of doing some test shots to try out the capabilities of the lens. IMHO I have yet to use it about 30% of it's potential.

Currently the Canon 18-200IS lens is my only EFS lens that I am still holding, even kept a crop specify for it. :bsmilie:

Same here, I think even after I get the 70-200 and 24-105, will still keep the 18-200 for travel as it really is super convenient.

Maybe I should try bringing the 70-200 and 24-105 after I get them for the next trip to see how I am able to adapt to constantly switching lenses. Damn...lenses are such a BBB addiction!

When I had my crop, sold my 18-200...regretted and bought another one again.
This happen even when I have a 17-55 & 24-105. There is just no comparison on how versatile this lens is......
