Digital Prints Promotion

Photo Friend at Peninsula is having a promotion on digital printing. $0.40 a print (min. 10 prints), there will be no media handling charges! They also have promotion on neg prints, i think free Max 400. But it's such a lousy film so no point having it free!

Any idea how they take to develop? And what about the quality?

Haven't tried their digital prints but i have friends who frequent them for neg prints! Should be pretty good. It's one of the better kodak lab that i know of. I think they are using the Noritsu printer. At $0.40 a piece with handling fees is a good price. Btw, i don't work for them, just happen to pass by and just want to share it with you guys. The promotion will end 30 Sept.

Is that on Fujifilm paper? Standard Photo and Singapore Color Centre is still the cheapest around at $0.29 per 4R (with discount card or SAFRA card) but there're people who do not find the quality consistent.

u mean 35cents - 15%?
anyway i asked and they say those with the $5 handling charge can use the discount card if no handling charge then they dun accept other discounts

Anyone tried Soo Kee Colour ?
I tried the one at Lucky Plaza...50cts per 4R, $5 jandling charge.
Quite good prints.
Also tried negatives there...again quite good...
Only abit ex...

They also offer negatives scanning to CDROM for $5.90

yup, 35cents - 15%.

Generally, I print in bulk, so the 15% is more than the $5. And the 15% discount applies to the handling charge as well

its best to put in CD-rw and pass to them

I sent two batches for printing at Photo Friend, both times the results were excellent. They use Kodak Royal paper. Much better colour and sharper than the one batch I sent to PhotoBeans for printing. Sent in at 1pm, could collect by 5pm.

Initially I am regular at SCC at Clementi , then a freind introduce PF at Peninsular. Ever since then I never go back to SCC.

See for yourself by sending the same batch of images to the 2 labs. Put them side by side and you will see the differences.
