Digital Printing on Yishun

Hi Brothers,

Anyone of you try the service of this shop:


1st Choice Colour Centre Blk 418 Yishun Ave 11 #01-397 Singapore 760418 Tel: 67545505

this shop is using Fujifilm FDI mechine. What is price for 4R printing? Any handling fee? Min Quantity? what type of paper? Most important, how's the print quality? good color?
 

u refer to the one beside the main road, near the turf club ? not bad, 25 cts per copy min 10 print. no handling fees. :)

used them once when Fuji had a promotion for free 10 4Rs with coupon from newspapers. can't assess them. however, try No 1 Colour Centre, Yishun Central, opposite MRT station, along Yishun Ave 2. 25 cts for 4r.

however, do not be shocked if they asked for advance payment!
 

i dun like her service though.

many times when i wanna collect my photos at the stated time on the receipt, they always say havent ready. And asked me to wait for 10-30mins, after that they charged me for Express service !!!!
 

there's one time when my bro accidentally handed them a malaysia $5 notes (coz the colors look almost the same as spore $5 note), tat lady was shocked and screamed back at my bro ... wah cowz ...

did you request for express service? if not, there is no need to pay for such service. the time for collection recorded on the counterfoil given to you is the time you should collect, not earlier. even if my photos are ready for collection before actual collection time, i will not collect them.

I used to be tough to them. As they took my storage media for downloading, I insisted that they record accurately the brand/capacity/type on my counterfoil. In the event of loss, there is a basis to arrive at a reasonable amount of compensation. Thankfully, so far, no need to use it. After numerous transactions, i am less tough now.
(the cost of my storage media is significantly higher than the amount of prepayment)

nah, i didnt ask for any express service, even though i need the photos urgently at that time. i went to collect the photos at the exact timing stated on the counterfoil, not anytime eariler. it happened a few times thus i never go there again.

from what you said, i see no basis for them to demand you to pay 'express service' when you did not ask for it. should go back and ask for refund. a little tough now. if i were you, i will go there one more time, and see if they will try to 'bully' me again. this time, stand up for your rights as a consumer.
