Hi all,

Anyone have any experience here shooting with film pushed higher?
Eg. pushing 400 up to 800/1600.
What happens to the shot post-development?

On the same note, can any film lab develop film pushed up?
Will it cost extra to do so?

Hope I can get some help here :)
Thanks all!

Thanks for the reply catchlights!

So to clarify, not just any lab can do push processing?
Ie. I would need to send it to specific labs for push processing?

Thanks again!

For BnW push processing, Triple D do it on Tuesdays and Fridays, and you can collect the film on the next day. Most shooters will suggest to DIY for BnW film instead of sending to lab.

For pushing colour negative or slides, unfortunately there's only 1 lab (link below) that does it locally the last I checked. Most labs do not do it anymore. If you push your colour negatives frequently, the cost of development will be quite hefty (Development: $12 per roll without scans, $2 for postage to the lab, $2.60 for the lab to send the negatives back to you). If I am not wrong, its the same for most countries, push processing colour film is quite an expensive affair (provided you can find 1 in the first place).

Thanks all for the help!

I'll close this thread now :)
