Where would be a good place to develop? Looking for somewhere near Bishan...

I used to develop at Junction 8 fuji shop.. they give very good price if developed in bulk.. like no processing fee if more than $8 etc.. more than 20-30 4Rs.. the cost per 4R will be cheaper..

but I heard from my friend that its no longer "cheaper" liao.. so what is a better alternative?

thanks ;)

just collect my photos from singapore colour center. kinda dissapointed. the colour is not bright, like fading. the skin looks like wax or plastic, i think they apply to much noise reduction or smoothness... it's cheap, but i think u got what u pay :(

oh well, That phone in midpoint orchard also not very good ..
the color of the skin look quite funny ... but it was fine on my monitor. Some turn out fine while some look funny.

Any better offer around ? I got 40 cents from That Photo but I would like to try some other shop. I guess standard photo no longer waive the $5 processing fees anymore right ?

Guys, remember : You pay peanuts, you get monkeys. In these kind of services, you get what you pay for.

After spending large amounts of money getting your dream digicam, putting in effort to take photos, touch up photos etc, your photos deserve to be printed by a good lab. Don't scringe on that. ;)

I highly recommend Colour Lab Photo Finishing at Adelphi, they charge the standard $0.50 per 4R and $5 handling fee. They have special paper to cater for the 4:3 format of most digital cameras too, so you don't need to crop yourself.

The other you can try is FotoHub at OUB Centre, Raffles Place. Same $0.50 per 4R but no handling fee. And you can upload pictures to their website at www.fotohub.com . For $2, you can get the prints delivered to you (but takes about a week).

Fotohub ? Will give it a try since ckiang recommand it and also it's near my gf's working place. Try to re-print some of the ugly face shot which That photo developed.

which of these shops is better in terms of service and image quality? they offer any discounts for >300 prints? It's quite a big sum of money if it's 0.50 each ;p

I tried both, it's pretty similar. I do have discount cards to both of them though. 10% discount, so for > 300 prints, you get at least 30 of them free.

FotoHub discount card is free once you have a bill of >= $100.
Colour Lab discount card is $20 for a lifetime.
RGB has 15% discount for students and members of the known photographic societies, but their digital rates are high to begin with. But good to use for their slide processing.

Colour Lab can turn around digital prints in 2 days for me, or even 1 day, if their load is not so high. Just be nice and ask. I have not done FotoHub offline, but the prints are usually ready in about 2-3 days if you send via their site, and it takes another 2-3 days to arrive in the mail if you choose to have them deliverered.

Walked past Photo Friend (at Peninsula) today, saw they are having a promotion on Digital prints. 40cents per 4R, no processing fee, min 10 prints, until end Sep...

..NuTs..

got back a batch of 300+ digital prints from Standard Photo (again ;p). couldn't find fotohub when I went down, so decided to use the $0.29 per print service.....

it's good this time round :) I thnk this is probably the best set I've printed. wondering whether it could be due to the new camera and higher resolution or the lab has improved it's finishing ;p

FotoHub is at 3rd floor OUB (not UOB) Building at Raffles Place. That triangular building. :)

Otherwise, just upload to www.fotohub.com. :)
