Damage CF Card?

I am a new A1 user. Recently I did a move on formatting my 256 CF card on my Apple ibook. Now my camera just refused to work with it. It displayed a message "unable to use card". Try formatting with window platform also in vain. How do i actually format the card 'correctly'. Help! :cry:

Hi There...

Just wondering if you have tried formatting with the camera....(force formatting).

With the camera turned on - in the photo taking mode - choose menu and scroll to the FORMAT menu...
