D90 upgrade

Still using my d90 2 years still going strong. I only have one dx lens, the 10-20 sigma. Other than that all fx, 35 f1.4 & 70-200 f2.8.. I will keep using it till I feel its limiting me. F1.4-2.8 will keep your iso down below 2000, which I feel is still very usable. Will see though how the d600 fares. If not probably a d700 once it gets below $2k used.

Imho, u shld consider d700 or d600, or at least a fx. I not suggesting the d7k is not good, but D90 to d7k, imho, its like upgrade by 1 level. Unless u are using d80, then upgrade to d7k, is like by 2 levels up.

Or if not the replacement for d300s, d400? (which of course no. News as yet) :)

Just my few cts worth

D700 has already started going below 2k used. :-)

Haha I didn't day I was upgrading to a d7000! Stated d700. But I should be getting a d700 soon. Just got to clear the 10-20 and d90 to make funds.

better wait for D7000 replacement... or the rumored D600

Frm my experience once you caught the upgrade virus it is usually difficult to contain & wait around. What I did was frm my D90 upgrade 2 1/2 yrs ago I got both the D300s & d700 2nd hands to try out see what I like & ended up keeping both until now when the D800 came along & I caught the bug again as I'm a sucker for details in my photos hence...

I think you'll love the D700 since you like taking night shots
