In the market, most shops charge $1950 for Cash and NETS and just plus 2% for credit card.

Today, finally booked mine today at special price, collecting mine kit on Tuesday. I have to wait till Tuesday as the electronic shop that I am well verse with does not do camera as its main business.

Got mine finally! Guess what.... $1490.00 (nett) at one of the shop opposite CP at Penisula. He sold the kit lens to someone, left with the body. So I bargain la!

Also got my Tokina 12-24mm at John 3:16 at $860.00. Samuel, nice guy who served me.

Last week, i went to their shop, both of them tried to discourage me from getting the Pentax K10D! :bsmilie: But the people there are really warm & friendly. :thumbsup:

doesnt look like its gonna happen in 2006.... was expecting it to follow the trend of D200 but its still holding up well at current prices. I see lots of ppl buying the D80 recently so no reason for them to drop price now... & they wont want it to be too close to D40 too..

but hopefully I'm wrong...

The two chaps are Samuel and Leslie, Chinese and Indian respectively.
It's Samuel's family business and his dad is there sometimes.

Nice folks but shop can be too busy at times and sometimes their price quotes for smaller items can be a bit chaos so you should know your prices before going in. Anyway I believe that in cases of price mistakes they'd be more than willing to make it up. Go to them during odd hours to get good advice on latest products as they're hobbyists themselves.

Customer service is exceptional, being a regular there they even loaned me a memory card for my overseas vacation so I don't have to buy an extra card unnecessarily. I don't think they do this for everyone of course, but it's these goodwill gestures that bring customers back and spread the word.
