D200 user with Battery Grip - Nikon MB-D200. Leave it on or off?

I don't mind keeping the grip on all the time, but due to the size of the camera bag, either unmount the lens or seperate the grip, I choose to seperate the grip, because if I need to take out for only a few shots, it is ok to do it without the grip, also worry about dust into the sensor.

i haven't buy the grip yet so i dun noe but still can buy from dealers? Cos D200 is out of production and i scare the grip is out production also........
