Curved CMOS will allow for smaller FF lenses

With CP+ just around the corner, there's an anticipation of a watershed change in sensor technology that could significantly reduce the size of lenses. Curved sensors will allow for fewer lens elements and consequently smaller and lighter camera lenses.
A full-frame GM5 someday maybe? But for Feb, a smaller RX2 is rumored to debut.
