Recently I noticed that TP has removed the speed camera along CTE. Can anyone confirm this or I've been dreaming while driving back?

With the road works ongoing at widening the CTE..its more effective than a speed camera..haha..

I was trying to look for it the past 2 days and can't seem to find it. Bro/Sis, please help me to keep a lookput to confirm my eyes not playing tricks.....

Wah what TP doing? Operation Remove Cameras??

Economy no good wanna reduce sa-man?

Anyway, recently, oso nvr see TP at TP(temasek poly) anymore. They usually hide at the overhead bridge leh... But recently when walk pass the time, nvr see them anymore...

I think TP having holidays. so they also pang kang ah.

Confirm CTE speed cam removed!
Probably they are going to install a much more hi-tech cam that captures speeding and road hogging.....:bsmilie:
The new speed trap in the form of a tree....:bsmilie:

The Braddell camera has been removed. It has been there for years. Wasn't it in the early 90's. I am not old enough then to drive... hehe. Anyways, has anyone noticed that the sign "Camera Zone" is still there? This is along PIE entry into CTE. I noticed this when I was looking if they have moved the camera in another position. Another thing is that these signs seem to have popped up in many places. Near the Balestier entry there is one of these signs too. There are one or two of these signs along TPE near the KPE exit as well.

That got me thinking, after so many years, these cameras may have been upgraded to smaller ones. What's worse, with better ISO sensitivity, flashes may not be required anymore. So as long as the Camera zone signs are there, do be careful.

Speed kills bro.. Be Safe. Drive Safe.

Hmm becareful of Mobile Speed Trap. They can deploy anywhere and everywhere.

Saw a couple of white Monkey on bridges and by the side to expressways.

Singapore should consider changing their red light cameras to speed sensitive ones. they trigger when

a) you cut the red light
b) you speed across the junction trying to cut the red light
c) you speed across the junction under normal conditions

the ultimate tool to deter would be idiots trying to outrun traffic lights and potentially causing collisions (as I almost experienced when I was back in Singapore. grrr).

the sign "Camera Zone" is still there?

This one not referring to the speed trap. This one referring to those "live-cams" that captures real-time traffic conditions. This one will capture everything, such as lane-cutting, road hogging, anything under the sun :) Usually mounted on lamp posts :)

traffic camera very good to aim your laser beam at

as long as there is a sheltered walkway across an expressway, beware!! The most active one is the KJE CCK exit...both directions:bigeyes:
