CRV3 battery

hi, im looking a rechargeble CRV-3 battery for my kodak Z712IS camera.
anyone know where can get? prefer oirginal kodak one.

My Z612 uses the same batteries as those of your Z712IS.

So far, I have not been able to find any local source of CRV3 readily available or reasonably priced. In the end, I bought from eBay.

My Z612 comes with a li-ion battery and a charger. This is my first choice. The CRV3 is a standby battery for me.

kodak support is sucks.... call the distri regarding the battery, then end up he ask me to get the 3rd party one. fxxk la... i ask what if it spoilt my camera, then he say wont la... n bra bra bra give me so many excuses. so regret to buy kodak.

Battery availability aside, I am quite happy with my Kodak Z612.

Its compact size, 12X optical zoom, image stablizer, short shutter lag, burst shots, and lots of pre-set scene modes - are all good points for me. The Z612 is a very capable super zoom camera that offers many features at a non-DSLR price.

im happy with my z712 too. only cannot tahan the support nia. kodak singapore website said got klic-8000 and the charger it, but i call up, they say dun have, n ask me to get the 3rd party one.

by the way, wht model (brand) of the battery u use?

My Z612 comes with a Kodak KLIC8000 battery and charger.

I just got a 3rd party KLIC8000 over eBay. It has no brand and is made in China. But so far so good.

As I understand it, CRV3 and KLIC8000 are two different types of batteries. Hence, chargers for CRV3 cannot be used for KLIC8000 and vice versa. Do read carefully the eBay descriptions when you buy, as some of them are quite confusing. Good luck!
