Contour+ camera

Hi guys, does anyone know whether there is a distributor for the Contour cameras in Singapore? Contour | GPS Video Camera, HD Helmet Camera, and Video Community

Same concept as the GoPro cameras, just that form factor is slightly different.

no. tried buying from BH photo also they dont send direct. Have to use comgateway that kind of services.

Outdoor store also have a shop in Velocity (Novena).

this store sell mobile phones as well..
think it is on the 2nd or 3rd floor at either of the escalator end.

oh ok thanks, will try to take a look when i'm around the area...

currently looking at amazon, listed price for the Contour+2 is US$400, convert based on 1.25, add GST, adds up to around S$540...and that's excluding shipping haiz...

i am jus sharing that there is a store in funan that sells

goto outdoor and see if the price is alright for you.
sometimes something it is more convenience to buy local.

for example,
one of my friend bought a gopro online from US.
maybe just luck, after a few usage, problem with the LCD; lines appears.
send or not to send back to US?

for me if the cost difference is not that much, i will buy local.
can use it immediately and dun have to worry about warranty..

was looking at something that i can bring underwater for videography...just somehow the form factor of the gopro doesn't appeal to me...too "boxy"?

read the review of this camera, one of the downside was that the lens is not "tilt-able"? meaning if you mount the camera sideways (for whatever reason), you can't adjust the lens to record "normally"...videos will appear 90' rotated as well?

price quite alright.. also can use a smart phone access the camera..
hopefully it works when launch in sg..


my gopro .. first i wait till neck long for wifi back..
now i bought the wifi back.. neck longer still to wait for apps for my android phone..

go pro can but only normal or upside down.. no side way thou..
but video can always be corrected by a software..
