consolidated stickies FAQs common questions idea

hi CSers,
CS is getting very big as you all know ..
and often everyone asks a question that has been answered to death
a few off the top of my head

DryBox or not
recover deleted images

we can definitely consolidate them into stickies but I think there will be too many

what I am suggesting is a wiki for such popular questions so that members can copy paste (with due credit to authors) informative posts in a Q & A type of FAQ

this way we can through a collaborative effort create a photographic resource for photogs worldwide
plus make senior members less grouchy when answering questions again and again haha

somehow i think it's more a problem of getting people to read stickies or search about it even before starting a thread to ask. might be interesting if someone does a poll on this.

i agree... a little time searching is a far lot easier than setting up yet another unread FAQ...

so wat if we consolidate all the threads on "do i REALLY need a dry-box?", or "do i REALLY need a tripod?", or "do i REALLY need to read the manual?"... wait, if people read the manual, then we dun need FAQs! :sweatsm:
