Complain Against Mass Order Merchant Henessy

Dear Mods,

recently I have paid an MO merchant "Henessy" through internet banking. However, he has failed to deliver the product which I paid for. He was supposed to keep me informed of the status of my product's delivery by this monday, 07/09/09, but even until Wednesday, 09/09/09, I have not received any news from him. His PM inbox was full on Wednesday, when I tried to PM him regarding this. Thus, I posted my enquiry on one of his MO threads afterwards. Subsequently, I posted another one in another of his MO threads. To my dismay, Henessy posted an "upupup" reply on both these threads after my replies, but still I have not received any answers from him.

I am unsure what his intentions are, thus I am posting this here as a reference for fellow CSers who are considering buying items from him. Also, I sincerely hope Mods would look into this matter.

i had bad experience dealing with him when he take mo for filter. waited more than two months, i decided to buy from any major store at higher price. although cod deal, but the hicup is nightmare.

Hi, my conversation with him has been reported verbatim in my first post of this thread. I did not tell him my bank details nor mobile phone number, since he mentioned getting back to me this monday. This is however, unlikely to explain why he posted "upupup" replies right after my posts in his thread, but not reply me or PM me (assuming so, since I haven't received any messages from him).

i bought my monitor calibrator from him, no issues.

sometimes people get busy, that is no excuse for sure, but a bit of understanding goes a long way.

Hi Bro,

He might be busy, which was why I only attempted to contact him on wednesday when he said to get back to me on monday. Even until now, he hasn't contacted me. I would guess one would probably have time for a simple acknowledgement of the issue at hand when one has had 4 days.

What perplexes me is the fact that he had time to update all his MO threads with "upupup", but no time to give me a simple reply.
 

If he had given me a simple explanation as he did back on the 3rd of Sep (see first thread conversation), I would perhaps have been more understanding. However, not only did he not contact me as he had promised, it seemed as if he is ignoring me - posting a reply superceding my inquiring posts.

So much trouble and complaints just for gaffer tape. You serious?
Would it be easier to just go and buy the thing from a shop?



Two things:

You revealed your home address on-line in the messages for everyone to see. May not be wise to do so.

Hennessy later asked for your bank account details "so he can give you money back".
DON'T reveal your bank account details to anyone.

Hi All,

Just to provide an update on this matter. Henessy has refunded the full amount to me upon request. With that, I'll let this matter rest.

Yup. I'll be heading down to stores to get myself some tape.
