Hi , has anyone used this flash unit before ? Am considering this flash unit to replace my exisiting vivitar flash unit ..

Using one right now... the Auto mode is very consistent for event photography and ETTL mode is excellent for macro shots

For general events, Auto mode gives quite a bold and even result... u may have to do a -2/3EV flash compensation.

Auto mode however cannot be used for macro as it will blow all the details...These samples of the flash used for macro in ETTL mode:
