Cold Lamination of photo?

Want to find out where can I do cold lamination of photo?
How much will it cost for 4R, 5R and 8R?

$4 for 8R is quite ok... Is the lamination done on 1 side of the photo? Then the other side may be exposed to moisture?

Why do people do lam of photo? Other than protect against moisture.

Other than exposure to light, photographs can fade in colour due to oxidation (by exposure to simple oxygen gas).
Sealing both sides of the phootgraph can slow down this effect.
Framing the photographs in very fitting frames and matting can also help reduce the effect of oxidation.
