clever jib with tilt control

I like this Skier Zoomjib 150 design for a few reasons:

1. You can control the tilt of the camera by just using the tripod head
2. Angle of camera is independent of its elevation
3. No tools needed to set up
4. Folds down to 94cam but extends to 230cm
5. The cable can be tightened without turning a tensioner.

For professional work bah...

The $700 price tag is a bit rich for the material. If it were mainly carbon fibre, I would buy it.

I believe it is a similar concept like the Fotocrane light that you and me have.

Yes, but Skier uses only pole clmaps to join the weight-arm and the cam-arm. There's some reduction in weight there. Too bad it folds down to 10cm longer than the fotocrane
Still the design is worth copying for future DIY projects.
