Cleaning camcorder lens

Hi people, i'm new here.

I was wondering if someone could help me out in cleaning my camcorder lens. It's got a finger print on it which appears on the videos i take. I heard you can get some type of cloth to clean it so i wanted to get some details.
Please help.

Is it on the external-most element? You can use a spectacle cloth to clean it without any risk of damages

Spectacle cloth will work, but watch out for it leaving little specs of cloth behind. For future cleaning, you can consider getting some lens cleaning tissues and a lenspen. Also a blower is essential to blow away the dust that always gets onto the lens.
