"Cheong" brand wireless remote for Nikon D70 - good?

I found a "Jianisi" brand IR wireless remote for Nikon D70 from PPCP (http://www.perfectpixelcameraparts.com/shop/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=95)

Desc on web "This 3rd party remote that replaces the Nikon ML-L3 part can trigger the camera shutter release remotely from a distance of up to 8 meters."
Price: $13.00

Is this cheap? Is this good? Any one used this before?

I checked Alan Photo and MS Color, both quoted $18, and both said no stock ...dah! Checked a few other shops also no stock or more expensive....one dared to quote $45/- !!!

Just buy on eBay. Trick some friends into buying one for their camera and share shipping, it's much cheaper that way.

I don't see the point of spending so much more on an original if a similar product does the same at much lower cost. It's not something essential that will cause a camera to malfunction.
