Hi! Anybody know where can I buy the cheapest sleeve for holding mounted slides? I am looking for better price than that offered by CP or Ruby?
Any recommendation for any online vendor or shop that sell sleeves at
a good price.

i used to get mine from NTUC or Big Bookshop. Quite cheap. But i don't know if they are acid free.

Coin sleeve can oso be used. take a mounted slide and go those bookshop and try....

Go Popular Bookstore. I buy mine there.

I buy mine from Cathay Photo... not cheap... about $18 for 10 I think?? But it is archival, meaning that the plastic will not give out gases that will make your slides fade over time. I think $1.80 per sheet of plastic sleeve is reasonable (yes... it's still expensive considering it's just plastic), but think of much much money and effort you put into getting the photos, it is cheap!

sorry to OT.. but izzit safe to just keep mounted slides in those plastic boxes given by the photolab? must store in drybox?

Thanks. But is the sleeves from Popular acid free?

I think it is good to keep the slides in the dry cabinet.
But the problem is that they will take up a lot of space, and
what will you do if you run out of space in the dry cabinet? buy
another dry cabinet?!
Anyone has suggestion on archiving the slides? Considering that
each time you have about a thousand slides after returning from a
holiday trip.
