Since all of these cheap recorders probably have auto gain control, its best to go as cheap as you can:

Half the storage for a little less than half the price... Looked for the cheapest recorder with a clip attachment (there are cheaper ones without clips)

I have a MemoQ clip-on recorder. Similar in size and function but around $120. Audio quality is acceptable if worn on the collar. Compression is quite severe. These clip on mics are for desperate situations when you have more people than you have lavs.
