An alternative is to buy a film scanner and do it yourself ..if you have time. Sell the scanner away thereafter. It will definitely be cheaper...if you have the time...:)

you may want to try Grace photo lab at Sunset way...price's reasonable.

thanks fungoer! May I know how reasonable is it? I have ask some shops and they quote me around $5 per roll of developed film.

Beside the price, is there a difference in the resolution and quality on the films being scanned among the different shops?

yes yes... interested to know as well.

Any sample of a scanned film?
never really saw one before... :embrass:

$5 per roll is actually quite affordable. Some places if u dun develop it with them they may even charge a handling charge. there are different resolution scanning but one of the higher resolution on is 16 base scanning.

these consumer scanners are allright, but i personally feel the scanned results are not up to standard of the scanning in labs yet(if not labs would not invest in costly machines)
