maybe. but serious CMOS is good. cause all my camera are cmos. other than the Pns camera i've just brought today at comex

Agree lah !

I was quite a early adapter of Digital Camera.... my 1st true Digital Camera is a Olympus C-3000 Zoom. It cost the same as my EOS 400D when I 1st brought it.... hahaha, that much for a 3.1 Mega Pix camera !!

CCD were better in those days..... with CMOS have more 'Noise' then CCD.

But nowadays, the CMOS senser on any DSLR (APS-C format sensors) will beat those CCD from a PnS camera anytime

I think CCD and CMOS has come to the point where there isn't much difference between the 2 technologies. Camera manufacturers choose either one simply because of cost, availability of parts and maybe compatibility with other functions in their camera.
