Caution about Aipo Dry cabinets

Just to share As a Ex user of Aipo dry cabinet which has let me down that includes that causes my lens to have fungus , i guess it also has caused other users many dismay due to the system after a few months , the humidity goes up and down , lcd reading display going weird , well the truth it best better to get a others brands in the market , at least so far didnt hear much of complaint of others except aipo - which many used start to complaint in the forum about the use of Aipo , the fact is you spent so much money on the purchase of your camera , look and design should not matters , it the function of the system , what the point of having a nice looking cabinets with led lights and , in the end it always give you problems and causes fungus . This is to share with my experience with the Aipo Dry cabinets

The person in charge, Miss Mok has gone missing..call also never reply. The distributorship may have already change. For those who bought and with receipt issued by Proling may try your luck here

well what i guess TS meant that Aipo system is not reliable all at . What i can see from the forum that there many customers who bought Aipo have many problems after using a while . So i guess The QC for Aipo is pretty Poor after all .

Try the Am-pro, mine lasted over 10 years and still working fine.

i'm sorry to hear that your lenses have fungus in them despite putting them in the dry cabinet.

i was also a user of AIPO. bought the dry cabinet and within 6 months the humidifier unit gone crazy.
thus, i requested to send in for repairs and the courier guy came and collected.

after close 2 months, i didn't hear anything from ms mok and tried to contact her. nobody picked up the phone and it was redirected to another number.
this went on for some time and i finally came to the conclusion: i donated $200+ to some stranger and i don't even have my spoilt dry cabinet with me too!

i did some investigation and found out that aipo tech business registration had expired and not renewed. then i found out that aipo tech and proling tech were closely related but proling tech simply denied the warranty and insist that the operations are different and i should continue to look for ms mok (like how?)

I feel sorry for you..mine was changes 3 times from one big unit to finally 2 smaller units and i need to top up some more and Ms Mok suddenly becomes uncontactable.

The bottom line - Aipo Dry cabinets quality is very lousy since it break down after use of a few month , so for people who trying to get a dry cabinet do be careful .

happen to see my purchase record of my Digi-Cabi a few days ago, my cabinet is more than 7 years old already, it only broke down once.

Good product is important,

Good after sale is even more important.

Mine is also still going strong and it is about 1.5 yrs Liao.

I bought it cheap during Sgcamerastore sale when they opened their new shop. Comes with 5 yrs warranty. Don't know if anything happen I should go back to them or who??? Pray that mine can last longer. FYI, mine does not have the LED lights. Are those that got problem the newer ones with LED?

That u dont have to worry - sgcamerastore has being helpful after the sale service , even now they dont sell Aipo , they will direct who can help .

Got mine from sgcamerastore too. So far no problem after 1 year. Also, my cabinet is the type with LED.
