First time doing the recording and editing all by myself
For those interested in the tech, it was shot on the 5Dmk2, using only the Canon 100mm F2.8 macro lens + tripod. The HD footage was converted to DVD NTSC for easier editing in Adobe Premiere. I haven't found out how to replace the low res footage to make it HD again. It seems like that's the proper work flow for HD videos. The other issue was the sound. Mono.
Looking back at it, I realized the problems started during recording. I didn't know what I was recording for. As in, what kind of end result I was going for. The kind of shots, the mood, the finishing. So I struggled a lot trying to find the correct footage to fit the mood I was trying to create. Should always begin with the end in mind.
Video here, watch the 720p version. Clearer.
