cathay sells lowepro bag cheaper?

i am thinkinof expanding. do they sell cheaper bags there or other places cheaper?

well, the price is alot lower than what is on the price tag. close to 50% difference.

The price tag is there for RRP... they sell lower than that normally, just check with the salesperson there...

CP is a great store that always have 50% discount for most of its bags :thumbsup::bsmilie:

When at CP, just take 50% off from the price tage for the Lowepro bags. I was talking to one staff, and they said that they are the main distributors and so need to maintain a minimum price, and cannot go lower than 50%. They did say that there may be some other shops that sell lower then they, but being the distributor, they have to protect the other shops by not under-cutting them.

Just curious, besides cathay photos, which other shops carry a variety of lowepro bags as well as other camera bags ? :think:

no la! my wife will kill me although on hindsight shld have bought the 200 or 300.

TK has lowepro as well.

I tink those non camera shop does sell tat at such prices. I bought my SR 200 at $110. Can checkout MS color. They dont have such a wide range like CP but worth a try if u live ard e North.

eventually i got mine from cathay at marina. i shld have gotten the 200 like u. now the bag like abit too small.

I buy my bags from TK Foto. They are slightly cheaper and have many of the bags (lowepro, tenba and crumpler) on display.

this is correct, distributor would rather let 20 shops sell 500 bags cheaper than him each month, than sell 20 bags himself, tell me which way the distributor is making more money??

I am interested to get myself a lowepro compudaypack and I asked various shops. Cheapest? TK Foto at $95... Cathay? => $110

I asked for CompuRover AW and Orion Trekker II, can't remember for this 2, but confirm TK foto cheaper than Cathay for these 3 models.
