we are a group of students making a new short film call: Living it. and we are looking for 2 casts. We really hope that those interested could take some time off to come down for the audition. ^^

4th Oct /12pm - 6 pm / Sun
10th Oct/ 11am -2pm / 5pm - 9pm Sat

Synopsis: After the father lost a leg in an accident, the father seeps into depression and the story explores the
reason behind his actions. Due to the lack of understanding towards the father’s condition, the son reacted in an
unloving manner. Being put into his father’s shoes, the son went through the amputation, the trauma and the
depression and this led him to come into a new light, understanding his father’s plight.
Character 1:
Lim Father - Chinese Male/ Age 45 - 55/ Carries a driving license/
May or may not be a real amputee. / Mature Father Looking
Lim met with an accident that left him with only one leg for the rest
of his life. He sank into depression as he had to stop working and
providing for the family, which was the only thing that he felt a great
responsibility in. Bed-ridden and confined to his room, he can only
resort to banging the TV cabinets to get attention. It is also the only
way the son will initiate a contact with the father.
Character 2:
Son - Chinese Male/ Age 22-26/ Medium built/ at least 1.68m
The son has not enjoyed a close relationship with the father since
young. When the father stopped working after the accident, the son
was stuck with the responsibility of tending to the father’s needs.
The son was impatient with the father and does not understand him
at all. Until he experiences the trauma and fear that his dad had gone
through from before to after the accident. That is when the bonding
starts.
