case/pouch for A1

I need a compact one, main compartment plus a few
slots for extra batteries, lens cleaner that's all.

Have one of those that is shaped like a SLR and can be sling or carried, comes with a front pocket from LowePro, BTW what batteries are you referring to AA or BP400 ?. It fits nicely, can let go as I am no longer using, almost new. Can sent pic if necessary.

I got the Nova 3 aw, its about 60 bucks but it has a lot of room of other stuff too. Good if you are going to end up with flash and teleconverters or Wide converters.

I use the stealth Reporter 100AW with the Grip on all the time. I also pack in a 3600 HSD Flash. Extra batteries, and 2 filters, 1 notebook....Still even got some more space.

sounds like its pretty big. i've browsed through the lowepro.com website and found the top loading pouch pretty compact. does anyone here owns this top loading pouch? wonder if it will fit an A1+grip.

Opps ! My note book is a pen & paper notebook. Not those computer notebooks. There're too big for my bag....

How about the LowePro Sideline shooter ? its a bumbag style bag. Should be fine for a A1. Take your stuff down to Cathay Photo, and physically try out the bags. The salespeople normally won't bother you and will let you try fitting your equipment in the bags. Good thing is that you might try another bag that you never even considered in the first place.

Just got the Lowepro AW2, can fit just nice with: A1 + grip, 3 sets of AA-batt, 3 filters, hood, cleaning kit, 3600 flash. still has a little bit of space. I'm a happy man.
