Car to car moving scene - Glidecam or Fig Rig

I'm doing a van to car moving scene, just a simple cruising speed. So I was wondering which is a better option and produce smoother videos, Glidecam or Manfrotto's Fig Rig. Do advice. Thank you.

Here's a video I did which lacks any of these, but the idea is there:

Neither. The best handheld sequence in a car is done with a brushless gimbal stabiliser.

I've read of people using Glidecams in vehicles, but it has to be one of the models compatible with a support arm, used in conjunction with a vehicle mount.

Suction mounts seem to be relatively smooth too: http://www.filmtools.com/gripper-3025-suction-cup-camera-mount.html

Some interesting advice in this thread:

The best way i have found through a few years of experimenting is hard mounting. this works on cars, motorcycles, aircraft and helis. Look at the rigs Hollywood uses to film in-car scenes. The simple ones are multiple suction cup mounted grip style gear and use bracing to eliminate any play in the camera. The big ones are welded to the frame of the vehicle. Some of my best car footage was a 7D mounted to the windshield with three 6" pump style suction cups. One held the base of the camera and the other two were to triangulate for stability and attached to the hot shoe. Hard mounting utilizes the vehicle's suspension to absorb bumps.
Any play in the mounting will result in repetition of the bumps with a decay.

Hardmounting + a fixed foreground = illusion of stability. Case in point: snoricams, gopros on handlebars, surfboards etc. Somehow having a fixed foreground relative to the camera effectively distracts the viewers from shakes.

Glidecam with Vest & Support Arm is needed unless you wish to go for the Movi (gimbal) type of system.
