I've got a CP740.. the colour was totally off for my landscape print out... sent in for servicing at csc... took abt 3 days and foc due to warrenty. Their test print seems fine... but when i get back home, i tried printing my sunset photos, still cmi! the colour is just too dead compare to what is on my pc screen. The skies was golden sunset colour.. very nice on my pc.. but it turn out to be over expose white in print out. Btw i did calibrate my pc's screen. was wondering is it due to heavily pp in ps... haha.. anw, now the selphy is resting at one corner for good.

Same! I think Canon selphy printers are quite a big disappointment. After hearing so much.
I know its not a pro printer. But i mean.. at least the prints should come out right.

My prints and my screen are way off. color wise. quite terrible.

shd send it down for serving soon. :) calibrate.

sigh... wished i had seen this post before i hopped on the band wagon. Now i'm stuck with a 740 as well. useless piece of crap... whats the use of having to pp a picture to suit a printer that only capable of 4r... anyone can share their settings to work around their mess?

I tried pushing up the brightness +3 and reducing the red -1 in the printer setting. Kinda worked a little better for portrait pictures.

So far after i got the CP 740, it can only do well with 'normal' photo without pp. it works well for p&s camera... those people tat don't ask for much, selphy printer is quite good and convinent. At 1st, i got it printed out some photos taken with p&s on portraits.. quite good.. but after i used it to printed out shots taken by my dslr and pp in ps.. totally....CMI!
