canon powershot a300

anyone can comment on whether i should get canon power shot a 300??its cheaper and is at 3.12mp?so its better than a60??

Of course, if I need zoom then I'll have to consider A60 or A70

Better to buy A70 ... you'll grow out og A300 very quickly ...

Windows compatible? I don't think there are many (if any) digicam manufacturers out there that produced cameras not compatible with the world's most used operating system. Wouldn't be very prudent would it?

don't get A300. it don't have optical zoom, only 5.1x digital zoom. i used to have it, but sold it after a few months.
however, i must say that the picture quality is quite good!
if u want something simple, look for one which have 3x optical zoom. there are quite a lot of models in the market.
